Valley Foods located in Youngstown, OH is looking to hire delivery drivers. This position does not require a CDL but must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record. We deliver various food items throughout the state of Ohio to the Ohio Army National Guard. Deliveries would be made to various National Guard Armories and Military Installation Bases in the state of Ohio. May also have to go to Valley Foods in Pennsylvania to pick up product. This position also requires when not delivering to be able to work in the warehouse as well.

Basic Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.

  • Must submit to a background check. No criminal record due to security reasons of military installation sites. This includes felonies and misdemeanors.

  • Must be at least 22 years of age or older to be considered for the position

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening, and a DOT physical

  • Must be able to lift at least 50 LBS, load and unload trucks

  • Must be willing to learn, be able to read and write, listen and follow directions

  • Must be able to be flexible with hours and duties

  • Good Attendance is a must

  • Good hygiene and appearance

  • Prefer someone with box truck experience, warehouse experience, and food service experience but not required.

  • Must be able to withstand hot and cold conditions.
