Valley Foodsystems has been a premier provider of quality, tasty, and nutritious meals to seniors and school children since 1970, and we are proud that some of our original customers are still with us today. We believe we have been able to satisfy and grow with our customers because of the quality of the products we sell and the uncompromising services we render every day.

We manufacture thousands of complete meals per day, with a capacity of many more, for senior citizens and elementary school-age children. All of the fresh meals in this program meet Title 3-C or Ohio Department of Education requirements, whichever applies; all are fully cooked and ready for heating.

Our senior meals are available in bulk or pre-plated, to be delivered in our refrigerated trucks. We also supply shelf-stable meal kits for seniors. Our 30,000-square-foot commissary was designed and built to our specifications, as well as the rigid requirements of the United States Department of Agriculture.

We take food safety very seriously and are listed in the Department of the Army’s Worldwide Directory of Sanitarily Approved Food Establishments. We are inspected by the USDA Meat and Poultry Division, Food Safety and Inspection Services (FSIS), the Food and Drug Administration, and the City of Youngstown Health Department.
